Abstract
The researcher adopted the experimental design with partial control for the two experimental groups, to suit the nature of the research. The problem of the study was determined. Do reciprocal teaching strategies have an effect on the academic achievement of the students of the Mathematics Department, College of Education for Pure Sciences, Tikrit University? Where the study aimed to measure the impact of the use of reciprocal teaching strategies on the academic achievement of the fourth students in the measurement subject among the female students of the Department of Mathematics and the development of their future thinking at the University of Tikrit. The students in the two groups (experimental and control) in the post test of measurement and evaluation, where the research sample amounted to 130 students divided into two groups, the first 65 and the second 65, and the results were in favor of the experimental group
