Abstract

This study aims to recognize the role that necessity imposes in the commitment of organizations to meet the adoption of the quality standard of laboratories17025 according to the quality management system IS9001. The specification contains two sets of requirements, administrative and technical, the administrative requirements relate to the quality of the "management system". Technical relates to the efficiency of the analytical staff, the methods of analysis and the devices used, the methods of quality control of analyses and the issuance of reports, etc. Laboratories use this standard to implement a quality system aimed at improving their ability to produce proven results. The researcher relied on the questionnaire form as the main tool for collecting field-side data. The preliminary data was analyses using SPSS. The following statistical methods were used (percentages, repetitions, averages and standard deviations, T test for the average of one sample for the hypothesis test). The present study has therefore been able to answer a range of questions: Can the indicative specification associated with the quality of laboratories 17025, fulfil the requirements associated with the ISO:9001 quality management system? Could it intersect or integrate with the Organization's practices? Are there any problems in the organization's adoption of the indicative standard associated with the quality of laboratories: 17025 in order to achieve its desired objectives to reach the required quality management? Consistent with the content of those questions, the study was strengthened by the hypothesis tested through a series of statistical analyses that reflected the reality of that hypothesis positively or negatively to reach the result that supports the research results. The researcher reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which was the research organization's interest in adopting laboratory quality standard 17025.
