The effect of tied ligaments training in developing some physical abilities and technical performance the grip of the throw over the chest in Roman wrestling Baghdad Clubs for Juniors
The researcher considered addressing this topic because of its paramount importance in developing the technical performance in the wrestling game through the development of the physical level of the wrestlers, especially the physical abilities. The importance of the research was manifested in putting in front of the interested and coaches special exercises using the tied ligaments to develop the special abilities and the technical performance of the throwing grapple over the Roman wrestling.
As for the research problem, it is using a training method (tied ligaments) according to scientific foundations to develop physical abilities and technical performance of the throwing grip from above the chest in Roman wrestling, which scores the most points, and this is what every wrestler seeks to resolve the fight and win.
The research aimed to develop special exercises using tied ligaments and to identify the impact of these exercises using this method tied ligaments in developing some physical abilities and technical performance of throwing over the chest in Roman wrestling.
The researcher assumed that there are statistically significant differences between the pre and posttests in the development of physical abilities and the technical performance of the throwing grip in Roman wrestling, and that there are statistically significant differences between the two groups (experimental and control) in favor of the experimental group.
The researcher identified the research community, which is the young wrestlers in Baghdad clubs - Rusafa youth category (55-65) kg and their number is (14) and a sample of (12) wrestlers was chosen. The sample was divided into two groups, the first is an experimental group, and they are (6), which are trained according to the method prepared by the researcher, using a training method for the tied ligaments. As for the second group (the control group), were (6), it was trained according to the trainer’s approach.
Then the statistics were conducted, analyzed and discussed, and the appropriate conclusions and recommendations were drawn up from the achieved results.
