Abstract
The aim of the research is to shed light on the analysis and measurement of the liquidity criterion, which has a role in influencing the profitability of the surveyed banks, as well as diagnosing and knowing the benefits of applying the global liquidity criterion to the cash generation of those banks. The research was also based on two main hypotheses, as the researcher adopted the inductive approach to accomplish the theoretical aspect, and the deductive approach by defining the indicators that should be included in the study. The researchers reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which was the significant effect of the liquidity criterion on the rate of profit growth, and in light of these results the study recommended several recommendations, the most important of which is the formation of internal committees in the general administration of banks specialized in recommendations for the application of the liquidity criterion approved by the International Committee.
